The examination authority NTA decides UGC NET 2019 cut off score in two ways. At first, candidates are shortlisted based on qualifying marks (category wise) followed by preparation of merit list as per the scored marks. Based on UGC NET cut off 2019, only 6% candidates to be selected for Assistant/Associate Professorship. And, for awarding JRF, examination authority selects a certain number of candidates having high rank in Assistant/Associate Professorship. Nta Ugc Net December 2018 Cut off for Paper I & II: Category wise Qualifying marks
Candidates have to secure qualifying marks in both the 2 papers of NTA UGC NET 2019 in order to get shortlisted for JRF or Assistant Professorship. The UGC NET qualifying marks for General category candidates is 40% in Paper I and II. While the qualifying marks for reserved category candidates is 35% in Paper I & II. Apart from securing a minimum qualifying marks, candidates must also score the minimum cut off of UGC NET 2019.
